Exhibition HistoryOriginally part of school traveling exhibit 1972-1973.Label TextHansen, an American artist, lets the view's imagination complete this funeral scene. Using few details in the figures and landscape, she creates the sad mood of those huddled at the graveside. Leaving the gray tones over the surface of the etching plate creates the feeling of a gray day.
