Label Textfrom KIA Traveling Exhibition text: "SEA BIRDS" is the work of Koppe, a Chicago artist. Using fine knives and gouges, he cuts into the hard wood wherever he does not want it to print. Ink is then rolled onto the remaining uncut surface, and it is this inked surface that is printed.
