This lithograph exhibits the improvisational quality of his sprayed, acrylic “loop” paintings which were garnering acclaim in New York at the time. Like Anuszkiewicz, Christensen achieves a sense of movement through color interactions, though his expressive, speckled lines were a departure from his contemporary’s hard-edged geometric forms.
