Robert Beskangy

Robert Beskangy was born in 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, where he currently resides. He attended Sacred Heart Seminary and Wayne State University there. He retired from a career as a computer systems analyst in 1999.
He began taking photographs as art in 1988. Essentially self-taught, he also attended workshops conducted by Howard Bond, Michael Kenna, and others in the 1990s.
In addition to his personal photographic projects, he has also accepted assignments from The David Lynch Foundation, Murray’s, Inc., and other corporate and charitable organizations.
His photographs are held in private collections in North America and Europe, as well as the collection of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
