BeiBei Chen

Prior to coming to the United States to study at Kendall College of Art and Design, BeiBei earned a BFA from Liaoning University of Technology and a graduate degree from Peking University School of Art, both among the top-ranked institutions of higher education in China.

LeiLei is currently an adjunct professor in Kendall College of Art and Design. Prior to coming to the United States, LeiLei was a professor of art at Liaoning University of Technology, where she taught undergraduate courses in drawing, oil painting, watercolor, and photography. From 2008–2011, she was awarded three consecutive years the Distinguished Assistant Professor Award for teaching at Liaoning University of Technology. Currently, she is a visiting scholar at the KCAD

The sisters frequently collaborate–in both art making and research. Their work is heavily influenced by Chinese culture, aesthetics, and philosophy with a focus on environmental and cultural issues.
